Game Introduction

Google Block Breaker uses the time-tested concept of the paddle game and puts its own colorful Google spin on it. The objective is clear. To prevent the ball from missing the paddle and remove all the colored blocks from above before missed shots run out your time. This basic reflex test soon becomes a problem of angles, since where the ball contacts the paddle determines the shot's direction and lets you target tough blocks that a straight shot would otherwise miss. Faster bounces put more pressure on the paddles during the game, and therefore, controlled movement of the paddles is more advantageous than chasing the ball around.

How to Play Google Block Breaker

Maintain the paddle near where you expect the ball to come down rather than chasing after where the ball is. When the ball comes down, ensure that you have corrected late enough such that it will land properly, but not too late such that the paddle passes the ball. Different areas of the paddle should be used to affect the rebound in order to hit those blocks located on the sides. When the block breaks, check the new route of the ball right away, as even a small deviation in the path of the ball can change the point of return. Do not park under the center unless the bounce is really going to take you there. As the board opens up, target isolated boxes so the end of the level isn't a string of pointless bounces.
