Game Introduction

Bubble Trouble creates tension with one simple rule: don't be where the next bubble bounces. Big bubbles make big arcs across the room, and any hits on them divide them up into smaller and faster enemies. This makes the game even more challenging before the screen is safe. The character cannot get away by jumping, so the position on the floor becomes very important all the time. The power-ups allow for adding more time, more lives, shields, or better behavior of the harpoon, but nothing replaces the free path. The gameplay is most enjoyable when the player pops one bubble family at a time rather than filling the room with small, fast targets.

How to Play Bubble Trouble

Move under a bubble only when its arc leaves enough time to fire and step away. Fire the harpoon upwards and take note of where the halves will fall to harpoon another big bubble. Little bubbles move fast and close to the ground; hence, it would be best to go for them if they start filling the ground space. You should use the power-ups provided as long as they are appropriate and not risk your life crossing a hazardous jump point in order to collect them. In a two-player game, it is advisable to divide the space as opposed to going for the same target. The timer does count, but it is important to note that planned clearance takes less time than panic, since there are fewer loose bubbles.

Controls

Use the keys "Left" and "Right" for movement and "Space" to fire the harpoon. The mouse selects the mode and menu options. On touchscreens, press the "Left" and "Right" arrows for movement and press the "Fire" button to separate the bubbles.
