Introduction

Sandtrix features a simple rule. Each piece's solid shape will change after landing. As grains are dropped into gaps, unbalanced piles form. No rigid grid is required to complete a row. If a single color can be seen to create a straight line across its width, then it's considered cleared. It is possible to use a strategy that's less predictable with this soft physics. The endless classic mode will continue until the board has been filled. Clear 40, the option for clearing 40 tiles in a row without any restrictions on time, requires 40 lines of tile to be removed. Easy, Hard, and Medium settings regulate the play speed and available space.

How to Play Sandtrix

Rotate each piece until it fits into the space, then move it to the area you wish it to expand. It is possible to drop the pieces and see what happens. While a surface that is smoother will be best, an inclined surface can also help. Connect a color to the left wall. Clear a 2nd row in the combometer before time runs out to get your multiplier increased to 10. Starting in easy mode, you should practice until the grain behavior is understood. In timed play, favor dependable lines. Keep the largest stacks far from the center in infinite play.

Sandtrix Game Features

Three modes of play are supported: survival, timed score, and clear, fixed target. Three levels of difficulty change both the play space and pace. The sand physics of each block makes it behave differently. The game rewards you for each pixel that is cleared. Chained lines will reward you with larger combinations. This puzzle can be played on desktops and touchscreens.
